Big Brother 16 - Totally Twisted! Episode 1 Mini Recap (contains spoilers)

Last night was part one of the TWO NIGHT PREMIER (squee!) of Big Brother 16!  For the first time ever, the house guests were separated and only HALF went into the house.  Our first group was Devin, Donny, Frankie, Cody, Amber, Nicole, Paola and Joey.

They played nicey-nice, drank champagne and immediately went into game mode.  The game is ON!!  

We already have 3 lame alliance names.  Group one decided that they needed to stick together when the other half comes in and promptly named themselves the "Crazy 8's".  Devin and Donny snuck off together and became "Double D's" (lame) and the four girls went full on girl power and Paola (Who I already don't like!) named the alliance, "El Quatro" (ugh!  16 season of Big Brother and many seasons of alliance names, and this is the best they could come up with?  whatev...)

Group 1 had their HOH comp.  I was particularly excited when I saw the backyard all set up with sand castles, kites, a spinny log and spraying sunscreen - BIG BROTHER IS BACK!!!  My summer can start!  The comp was similar to some of the other past comps..."hold on to this, while you balance on that...and, oh, yeah!  We're gonna spray slippery stuff on ya to make it difficult!"  I. LOVE. IT!!!!  Paola intervieewed that she was going to KILL this comp...annnnnnnnnnnd was the first to fall!  (hee!)

Frankie won the 1st HOH comp and immediately proceeded to "Freak the Frankie Out!" because of Julies announment that being HOH didn't necessarily mean that you are safe (what????)

So far, with the exception of Paola, I sort of like the 1st batch of house guests!
